Module 1 - Fundamentals
Chapter 1: General Principles
Chapter 1 Overview
In Chapter 1, we will explore the general principles of engineering statics with the following objectives:
- Introduce the fundamental quantities and idealizations of mechanics
- Review Newton's Laws of Motion
- Reinforce the principles for using the SI system of units
- Examine standard procedures for numerical calculations
- Provide a general framework for effective problem-solving
